The Doll Quilt I Made!

Well seeing as my swap partner has received the EB Quilters doll quilt swap I made, I can now post full size photos of it here:

I had such fun making it! I know it's far from perfect, I couldn't for the lift of me get all my little cornerstones lined up, even after endless unpicking and re-sewing, so I had to settle for the best I could do at the time. My machine quilting is a little wonky in places, but if I ended up handquilting it like I originally planned than it might have not been ready to post until this time next year ;).

Overall I'm really happy with how it has turned out, my first "pieced" quilt! I have been collecting some gorgeous butterfly fabric in various bright colours to make one for my friend's daughter for christmas.

Thank you so much Helen for organising this swap - we've all had so much fun and I'm sure we've inspired lots of others to give one a go too

Natalie that is adorable - what a great job you've done.
I've been wanting to see yours revealed - that teaser pic you put in a while back was very tempting!
